Corby businesses have been signing up for the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, offering diners 50 per cent off their food.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak designed the policy to encourage people to get out and eat out after businesses were closed for months during lockdown.
Diners can get 50 per cent off their dine-in food and non-alcoholic drinks, up to the value of £10. The scheme does not cover alcoholic drinks, takeaways, food for events or tobacco products.
The offer applies on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between August 3 and August 31. You can use the scheme as many times as you like.
The businesses taking part in the scheme were announced today by HRMC. The Northants Telegraph has put together lists of those participating.
