Parkinson’s UK Live Well with Parkinson’s – Free Information & Support Event

Parkinson’s UK are working in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport to deliver a free ‘drop in’ information day for people affected by Parkinson’s at Duston Sports Centre on Saturday 22 April 2023 10am-3pm.

This event will offer the chance to speak with local support organisations, enjoy free talks and find out more about ways to stay active with Parkinson’s in your local area.

Come and visit us in the Main Hall from 10am-3pm to watch or take part in demonstrations of appropriate physical activties to help you stay active with Parkinson’s.

The day will also deliver free talks (in the Dance Stidio) to support people affected by Parkinson’s:

  • Parkinson’s Nurse Service (Northamptonshire NHS Healthcare Foundation Trust) at 11am talking about living with Parkinson’s
  • Navenna Kapur the Research Communications Manager for Parkinson’s UK at 12-noon talking about research findings and updates about Parkinson’s
  • Katie Smith (Area Development Manager) and Lisa Turley (Parkinson’s Local Adviser) for Parkinson’s UK  at 13.00 talking on living well with Parkinson’s
