Step into Storytelling: Weekend Workshop

6 November @ 9:00 am - 7 November @ 3:30 am

£120 – £150

A weekend storytelling workshop for beginners exploring your first steps into the world of storytelling with Storyteller Marcus Pibworth, on the border of Beds, Northants and Bucks.

Do you want to tell stories but don’t know where to begin?

“Where did you learn to do that?” “I could never remember a story that long!” “Where do you find your stories?” These are the most common things I hear at the end of one of my stories.

If any of those chime with you, then this is the course for you!

Over the weekend we will take a gentle stroll into the basics of storytelling. By the end of the weekend you will have learned a traditional folktale, you will know where to find stories and how to craft them, and you will have gained confidence telling your story to the other workshop participants.

Together we will take the first step on the long, exciting path of storytelling. So whether you are looking to tell stories for fun, to engage people better at work or wanting to follow the road of storytelling wherever it may lead, I’d love to welcome you into this workshop.

The weekend will take place in the beautiful setting of Home Farm (MK46 4HN) in North Buckinghamshire, surrounded by inspiring nature. We will be in the safari tent, sharing stories around the wood burner, or perhaps around the fire pit outside if the weather so permits!

There will be tea, coffee and snacks provided. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
