The following people have been sentenced at magistrates’ courts in the county:
Flinders Close, Corby. Age: 43
On 21/02/22 at Oundle drove an Audi without due care and attention.
Plea: Guilty. Banned from driving for two years. Fined £1,000, to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £190.
Warkton Way, Corby. Age: 18
On 29/08/22 at Corby damaged a man’s door to the value of £2,000; pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a person; at Kettering assaulted a custody detention officer by beating her.
Plea: Guilty, changed from not guilty. Jailed for 20 weeks suspended for 24 months. To take part in rehabilitation activities. Restraining order made banning contact with a named person or attending named addresses. To pay compensation of a total of £2,600.
Havelock Street, Kettering. Age: 24
On 30/01/22 at Kettering assaulted a man by beating him.
Plea: Guilty. Community order made with a 100-day alcohol abstinence requirement. To take part in rehabilitation activities and carry out 180 hours of unpaid work. To pay compensation of £100, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95.
Thoroughsale Road, Corby. Age: 29
On 18/06/22 at Everard Arms, Corby, assaulted a man by beating him.
Plea: Guilty. Community order made with rehabilitation activities. To pay compensation of £200, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
Hatton Park Road, Wellingborough. Age: 34
On 30/07/22 at Wellingborough used towards another threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause them to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used; on 10/08/22 at Wellingborough were in possession of herbal cannabis.
Plea: Guilty. Community order made with rehabilitation activities. To pay compensation of £100, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
Roughton Close, Kettering. Age: 28
On 28/08/22 at Kettering stole candles and washing products worth £72 from Savers; on 04/10/22 at Northampton failed to surrender.
Plea: Guilty. Community order made with rehabilitation activities.
Kelmarsh Avenue, Raunds. Age: 44
On 11/07/22 at Raunds drove a Vauxhall after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath, namely 110 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.
Plea: Guilty. Community order made with rehabilitation activities and 100 hours of unpaid work. Banned from driving for 40 months. To pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
Highfield Road, Kettering. Age: 32
On 23/09/22 at M&S, Wellingborough, stole meat worth £103.40; committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge and during the operational period of a suspended sentence.
Plea: Guilty. Jailed for 13 weeks. To pay compensation of £103.40.
