Northampton offers an array of shopping centres and shops, including independent retailers and major high street names. Most days of the week there is an open air market in the town centre held on the historic market square. The market is a bargain hunter’s paradise and there are regular farmers’ markets. Northampton itself has many modern facilities including the pedestrianised shopping area of Abington Street and several indoor shopping precincts.

Northampton shopping areas and precincts are Peacock Place Shopping Centre, Weston Favell Shopping Centre, Riverside Retail Park, St James Retail Park and The Grosvenor Shopping Centre. The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is Northampton’s largest shopping centre and boasts over 60 stores and restaurants including ladieswear, menswear, gifts and novelties.

From an interesting and varied selection of smaller shops to large high street names, the Grosvenor Centre provides a wide selection of attractive goods to cater for the whole family. The Grosvenor Centre is open seven days a week. Plenty of parking spaces can be found in the Grosvenor Car Park with easy access to the shops.
